Portfolio Workshop
(4 weeks)

What to Expect
Two live sessions per week
4 sessions total, each 3 hours, in groups of no more than 6 students. The small format keeps sessions focused and gives you the space to ask real questions.
Practical mini-workshops
Each week includes hands-on tasks to push both your design thinking and presentation skills further. These short, practical exercises make complex improvements easier to apply.
Portfolio structure & clarity
Learn how to sequence projects so your portfolio reads with flow and intent. We’ll also cover how to edit images and text for clarity without losing depth.
Homework tasks & in-class work
Refinement happens during and after class, with structured tasks that build step by step. By spreading the work, you’ll avoid the last-minute panic and see steady progress.
Written feedback & next steps
At the end you’ll receive personalised written notes summarising your strengths and what still needs improvement. The feedback includes a clear action plan tailored to your deadlines.
Employability focus
Your portfolio isn’t just for grades — it’s the first thing future employers will judge. We’ll shape it so it works for academic review and stands out in applications.
Who is it For?
Students and graduates with a portfolio draft who want structure, editing support, and practical feedback before applying for jobs or internships — and students who want to improve their designs and achieve better grades in their current projects.
Outcome:
In just four weeks, you’ll sharpen your design thinking, strengthen your portfolio, and learn how to present projects clearly. With 16 hours of teaching, homework support, and written feedback, you’ll finish with a portfolio ready to use — and a clear roadmap for next steps.
Project Reality Workshop
(6 weeks)

What to Expect
One live session per week
6 sessions total, each 3 hours, in groups of no more than 6 students. The longer format allows us to dig deeper into each stage of the project while still keeping space for feedback and discussion.
One project, all stages
We’ll take one fictional project through every major stage, from feasibility to handover. This gives you a complete overview of the design process that most students never experience in school.
Practice-style documents
You’ll learn how to create the drawings, reports, and deliverables expected in real studios. These outputs will help you understand not just design, but how architecture is documented and communicated professionally.
Weekly tasks & deadlines
Each session is followed by structured tasks to complete before the next stage. This pacing simulates the reality of practice, helping you get used to working to professional deadlines.
Portfolio-ready outputs
By the end, you’ll have drawings, diagrams, and documents you can adapt directly into your portfolio. These materials show employers that you understand more than just concept design.
Certificate of completion
You’ll receive a signed certificate listing the skills you practised and developed. It provides a tangible record of your experience and strengthens your CV and portfolio for applications.
Who is it For?
Architecture and interior design students preparing for crits, reviews, or job interviews who want to present their projects with more confidence and structure.
Outcome:
Learn how to structure a presentation from start to finish: which drawings to show, how to order your ideas, and how to speak with confidence. The mini workshops will help you clarify your design goals and outcomes, and prepare presentation speeches — around 8–10 minutes for crits, and 2–3 minutes for job interviews.
